Para mirar una obra de arte hay que empezar de cero. Borrarlo todo. Decidirse a ignorar los archivos y las unívocas documentaciones. Convertir el arte en algo no previsto. Apartando, en lo posible, las telas de araña de los conceptos previos y la neblina de los enfoques deterministas que aplastan y anulan cualquier relación personal con la obra. El arte busca siempre una mirada cómplice en la cual desatar su apasionamiento y sus intimidades inéditas, su memoria no descubierta, su imaginario aún no postulada. Una mirada-punto de partida, una mirada en la que nunca sea una realidad dada. Una mirada que pertenezca a los ojos de la obra, un mirar desde adentro. Carlos Ildemar Pérez
