Exposición del Proyecto "DIN A4" La iniciativa de arte L5 art Roermond Holland, inició en junio 2000 el proyecto DIN A4 como una presentación en internet y simultáneamente como una exposición itinerante. Artistas de todo el mundo han sido invitados a participar en este proyecto con dos dibujos sobre papel de tamaño DIN A4, una medida estandard europea, de 210 x 297 mm., con el fin de dar uniformidad y facilitar el almacenamiento. Todas las obras seleccionadas están grabadas en vídeo y en CD Rom, y expuestas en muestras cambiantes. La intención es mostrar la constante necesidad de los artistas de representar pensamientos, sentimientos, entorno y tiempo. El hecho de alternar las muestras, pretende conseguir un equilibrio en la exposición, para evitar que el visitante se sature por la cantidad de obras y así mismo evitar que se produzca competitividad entre las mismas, subvalorando o sobrevalorando unas respecto a otras. Con la colección de dibujos se creará un instituto DIN A4, y este ilustrará la fuerza creativa, y la diferencia de expresión de los distintos artistas participantes de todo el mundo. La colección íntegra deja claro que a pesar de la enorme cantidad, cada dibujo ofrece su propia idiosincracia, formada por cualidades individuales, fondo cultural, y el entorno de cada artista. Las creaciones del artista muestran la peculiaridad del ser humano sobre un sencillo papel del tamaño DIN A4. La exposición actual del Proyecto DIN A4 en el Museo Cortijo Miraflores en Marbella muestra una selección al azar de las obras de los artistas participantes. Otra selección del Proyecto A4 está expuesta en la "Lokovna galerija grada" en Zenice, Bosnia Hercegovina, inaugurado el 20 de marzo, 2004, por el alcalde de la ciudad. Durante la exposición del 1 de abril al 14 de mayo, se muestra la documental "Galeria 3.40, Proyecto DIN A4", grabado en video, por cortesía de la emisora de radio televisión RTV 3.40, comentando sobre las obras expuestas en la reciente muestra en el Ayuntamiento de Mijas. También está previsto de establecer una conexión directa entre la exposición en Marbella y la página web del DIN A4, destacando el componente global y virtual del proyecto. El proyecto ha sido expuesto en Roermond, Holanda, en la "Macomb Gallery", Mt Clemens, Michigan EE UU, en "Art Niederkrüchten" in Haus Hanssen Elmpt, Alemania, y en "Gallery Lokal", Kraków, Polonia, en el "Patio de las Fuentes", Ayuntamiento de Mijas, y en la "Lokovna galerija grada Zenice", Zenica Bosnia Hercegovina. Exhibition of the "Din A4 Project" L5 art initiative Roermond Holland started in June 2000, the DIN A 4 project as an internet presentation and simultaneously as an itinerant exhibition. Artists, from all over the world, are asked to participate in this project by sending two drawings on paper size DIN A4, an European standard for paper size, measuring 210 x 297 mm. which makes for uniformity and is easy to store. All selected works are recorded on video and CD-Rom and shown in alternating exhibitions The intention is to show the persistent urge of artists to represent thoughts, feelings, environment and time. In the varying presentations of the individual works care is taken for a balanced presentation, to prevent visitors being overwhelmed by the quantity of pieces and to guard against the individual works being underestimated or displayed in a competitive atmosphere. With the collection of drawings a DIN A4 institute will be created and this will show the creative force and the difference in expression of the various participating artists from all over the world. The entire collection will show that, in spite of the huge quantity, each drawing has its own specific character, formed by individual qualities, cultural background and the surroundings of the artist. The artists' creations will show the uniqueness of human beings on the simple paper size of DIN A4. The current exhibition of the DIN A4 project in the Museo Cortijo Miraflores in Marbella, shows a random choice of works of participating artists. Another selection of the A4 Projects is exhibited in the Likovna galerija grada in Zenice, Bosnia Herzegovina, which has been inaugurated the 20th of March 2004, by the cities mayor. During the exhibition from the 1st of April till the 28th of May, the documentary "Galeria 3.40, Proyecto DIN A4" will be shown, on video, by courtesy of the Mijas television, RTV 3.40, commenting on the works on display in the recent exhibition in the Mijas Town Hall. Also a direct internet connection will be established between the Marbella exhibition room and the DIN A4 homepage, emphasizing the global virtual component of the original project.
