La organización anatómica, no solamente de los seres humanos, sino también de los animales, las plantas, las bacterias, los cristales, las rocas, las máquinas y los edificios. La simplicidad y la complejidad de sus formas y de su articulación, la disposición de las fuerzas y de las tensiones en las estructuras vivas y no vivas. El reconocimiento de las cualidades de las cosas; su dureza y su blandura, su pesadez o su ligereza, su tensión, su suavidad o su rugosidad. El reconocimiento de las unidades y de las semejanzas, de los ritmos y de las analogías, de las diferencias. El carácter del espacio, la penetración de las cosas en el espacio. La naturaleza de la iluminación, su determinación de lo que vemos. El registro de valor del color. La manera en que nuestra lectura de la experiencia es controlada por nuestros medios de percepción.
